Salon Policies

Appointments + Cancellations

For cancellations, we require a 24-hour notice (48-hour notice for appointments longer than 2 hours), or a fee of equal to 50% of the service is charged. We also require a 48-hour notice for special event bookings, multi-service appointments, and/or group bookings. Appointments can be cancelled ONLY by phone or through online booking (prior to 24 hours before). We do not accept cancellations by email or Facebook messenger.

Credit card deposits are taken for group bookings and lengthy appointments. The scheduling of evening and weekend appointments, as well as group bookings, often require advance notice.

All new clients are required to pay a 50% deposit of scheduled appointment at the time of booking.

Group Bookings

We are able to accommodate a limited number of groups of various sizes for social gatherings, bridal parties, and corporate events.

Salon + Spa Etiquette

We ask that you turn off your cell phone when enjoying salon and spa services, as a courtesy to all guests. Wi-Fi is available for e-mailing and web browsing. Gratuities are at the discretion of our clients and are not included in the price of services.

Please refrain from conversations about medical information.

Gift Cards

INTERLOCKS Gift Cards are available for purchase in-store and online. You may redeem your Gift Card for its dollar value towards any services or products. Gratuities cannot be made through Gift Card redemption.

Refund + Return Policy

We strive to provide high quality services and products and we will make every effort to ensure your satisfaction. While we do not offer refunds on services provided, we are happy to repeat a service to your satisfaction; please speak with a manager within 72 hours of your original service. Store credits are issued for most products returned within 30 days of purchase, with the original receipt. However, all makeup, cosmetic items, and hair extensions cannot be returned and are final sales. Gift Card refunds are issued within 30 days of purchase, with proof of payment, to original payment method only.

Check Acceptance

We will gladly accept your local check, provided that your full name, address, and phone number are imprinted. There is a $25 fee per returned check. We do not accept starter checks or third-party checks.

Prepayment

We ask that clients pay for services after receiving them. To avoid undercharging or overcharging our valued clients, we cannot accept prepayment for services.

Children

We offer some salon services to children with parental permission and/or supervision. However, we discourage adults from bringing children to accompany them for their own services.

Children are not allowed to accompany adults in our spa or medspa rooms, as the child’s safety may be compromised, or a child’s behavior may be disruptive to other guests.

While teens are welcome for some skincare and massage services, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who remains present during the service.

Accessibility

Our salon, spa, and medspa are ADA compliant, with wheelchair access throughout.

Health Considerations

The safety of our clients and staff is of paramount concern, so we ask that prior to receiving services you make our staff aware of any allergies, or health concerns and/or illness you are experiencing. The following guidelines are provided as a courtesy, not as medical advice. Consult your physician for best guidance.

Pregnancy

  • Maternity Massage is recommended during 2nd and 3rd trimesters only
  • Refrain from heat-induced services
  • Consult physician before any treatments.

Medication Use

  • Refrain from microdermabrasion and waxing if using topical or oral medications that make skin more sensitive.

High Blood Pressure

  • Refrain from Body Treatments
  • Refrain from heat-inducing services.

Cold Sores

  • Refrain from all facials
  • Refrain from waxing (on affected area)

Allergies

  • Some of our service products contain nuts and algae; make your service provider aware of any allergies.

Privacy Policy

INTERLOCKS  Salon + Spa respects your privacy.

This Privacy Policy describes exactly how INTERLOCKS uses identifiable information regarding our clients, such as your name, address, telephone number(s), email address, and credit card information.

Primarily, we collect such information for the purpose of providing you with an outstanding experience on the INTERLOCKS web site. We will never sell or rent your personal information without your consent. The one exception is the following: If we are required by law, or to protect INTERLOCKS’ rights and property, we will disclose client information to the extent so required.

By using our web site, you consent to the collection of information and use of information in the manner described here. If we change our privacy practices, we will post those changes on this page. You will always be kept aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.

We request client information when you choose to use our web site. The type of client information we request has to do with the type of service you are using. For example, if you make a gift card purchase, we will ask you to provide your name, address, telephone number, email address, credit card information, billing address, shipping address, name of gift recipient and recipient’s shipping address so that we can fulfill your request. In order to ship and track your online purchases, we make your name and address available to such companies as the US Postal Service and Federal Express. When you Register for Online Booking & Opt-in to Our Email List, we will ask you for your name, address, telephone number, and email address. Your email address will be shared only with the company that hosts our opt-in subscriber list, as well as within INTERLOCKS for the purposes of sending opt-in subscriber emails. You can safely unsubscribe from our email list at any time. When you Book Online, we collect certain information from you in order to schedule your appointment(s).

INTERLOCKS uses IP (Internet Protocol) addresses in limited ways. An IP Address is a unique identifier, allowing online information to be sent to the right place, such as with Gift Card purchases. We also use your IP address to gather broad demographic information.

We use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), which is the web industry standard for transferring sensitive information; such is the case with processing your online purchases. The SSL encrypts your order information, including your credit card information. INTERLOCKS has secured its SSL certificate.
