IPL Training
Our aestheticians have mastered IPL services through a multistep training program, both in an accredited university and in the medspa working with our Director of Laser Services, Jen Oliveri.
The initial 4-day intensive course was focused on the science of how Intense Pulsed Light interacts with and benefits different skin concerns. After many hours in class, the aestheticians had two days of booked-solid schedules for hands-on learning with live models. They completed training with a working knowledge of who benefits from IPL facials, who is and isn’t a candidate, and how to achieve the desired results. They then used their knowledge and training to continue working with Jen for months of preparation for the growth of this service within our Medspa.
With the knowledge we were given through our Catherine Hinds workshop, and the collaboration with our mentors in-house, we are excited to bring a new level of results to our clients!

Benefits of IPL
Vera:
IPL is great for skin rejuvenation, clearing away any sun damage including brown spots and broken capillaries, and has little to no downtime. It can be done multiple times a year and it’s a natural way to rejuvenate the face, giving you a cleaner, brighter look.
Benefits:
- Deep rejuvenation with very little downtime
- Quick treatment
- One of the best ways to treat sun-damaged skin
- Can treat stubborn acne
- Excellent way to eliminate visible veins and capillaries
- Having regular IPL can prevent skin aging
- Can be performed on multiple areas of the body
- Pairs well with other non-surgical treatments like dermaplaning and micrneedeling
— Master Aesthetician Vera M.
Laura:
I love IPL because it’s a very effective, results-oriented treatment and you se the results quickly.
I love it for treating brown spots — the pigment will start to pepper and then eventually fall off, helping brown spots disappear.
— Master Aesthetician Laura C.
Kassandra:
IPL helps take clients’ results to the next level! It reduces the appearance of sun damage and hyperpigmentation, redness and rosacea, and skin rejuvenation.
As an IPL client, you will have your best results when combining IPL treatments with a home care regimen that will address your specific skin concerns. When I am working with anyone in my treatment room, my goal is to educate you on how to achieve the best results possible! Often, this is through detailed analysis of your current home care regimen and routine. This way, we can customize your routine by adding and eliminating certain products, ingredients and lifestyle habits (such as committed SPF use!)
If you are a candidate, IPL treatments will become a core part of your overall skin maintenance along with whichever other services and products are right for your skincare goals!
