A Class with James Pecis

If you’ve flipped through the glossy pages of a high-fashion magazine, or watched models strut down the runway at any major fashion show, you’ve likely seen the work of James Pecis. An internationally known editorial hairstylist and Oribe Global Ambassador, James works major events like London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, and photoshoots for the likes of Vogue, Chanel, and Dior (to name just a few).

Recently two INTERLOCKS stylists traveled to Oribe Headquarters in NYC for a one-of-a-kind class taught by James. Senior Stylists Christine Robinson and Sarah LaPointe learned what it takes to make in the editorial styling world, as well as skills and tips needed to work behind the scenes in fast-paced runway shows. Then they recreated a beautiful hairstyle that utilizes many tricks for these quick changes—see the photos for yourself!
