31 Aug Makeup Reopening Guidelines
We’re so excited to share some happy news: the return of makeup services! 💄
We’re keeping the focus on health and safety (and you can see some feedback about our safety guidelines on our awards + testimonials page). Each step of the way, we’ve developed thoughtful and thorough protocols to protect our team and valued clients. We strive to provide excellent services, and peace of mind to those receiving them.
New Makeup Menu
We have created a new makeup menu, comprised of mask-on and mask-off services. You can see all services and pricing on our Makeup Counter page.
Our traditional complimentary consultation is now mask-on only. It will consist of a conversation with no makeup application, with exception of the forehead and/or hands for sampling products and colors. We have added a mask-off Consultation + Mini Application, focusing on 1-2 areas such as eye makeup, foundation, or lipstick. This service is $50, which is redeemable toward any makeup purchases during your appointment.*
Makeup pricing has increased to support our additional costs of sanitation processes and required PPE for clients and staff.
*The $50 charge for a Consultation + Mini Application is redeemable toward makeup purchases at time of appointment. Not redeemable toward any other products or services. All Makeup Services
Protected Area and PPE
We have created a protected and private booth within our makeup counter area with an acrylic barrier wall. For all mask-off makeup services, your artist will wear an N95 mask covered with a disposable surgical mask, a face shield, and gloves.
All makeup items, products, and work area are properly sanitized before use. Disposable applicators are used whenever possible, while all makeup tools and brushes are fully washed and sanitized before each use. PPE worn by the artist is either disposed of, or properly disinfected, after each client service.
Mask-Off Makeup Services
Prior to any makeup application, you will be asked to keep your mask on during the initial consult. The artist will place a disposable protective barrier on a side table, onto which they will place all sanitized tools and products that will be used to provide your service. When the artist instructs you to remove your face mask, you will place it into a bag. You will then be given a disposable face mask to wear upon completion of the service, which will not disrupt your newly applied makeup. The artist will then assist with any purchases and ensure your ease in exiting so you can fully enjoy your new look!
