28 Jun Spa + MedSpa Reopening Guidelines
Let’s start with the big news:
MEDSPA SERVICES WILL FULLY RESUME ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 1!
Client and staff health and safety remains our highest priority. We have elected to implement our own phased approach in reopening the spa and medspa, with a focus on health and safety first. We will be following all of the safety and sanitation guidelines for close contact personal services provided by the state of Massachusetts, our previously issued guidelines, as well as the specific spa + medspa guidelines outlined below.
Please stay tuned as guidelines may change with new information, updates from the state government, and a progression through our phased approach. We will continue to issue updates by email, our website, and social media.
All medspa services — Botox + fillers, laser skin therapy, laser hair removal, and electrology — will be available beginning on Wednesday, July 1st. Additional PPE will be worn by team members for services that require the client’s mask to be removed.
Mask-On Spa Services Only
At this time, our management and spa teams have decided to only offer spa services that can be performed with a mask. Both the client and service provider are required to keep their masks on for the entirety of the service through this initial phase.
Facials will be reintroduced soon, while we create some additional safety precautions to best protect our clients and our team.
During this initial spa reopening phase, we will offer:
- most waxing services
- treatments for the neck and décolleté
- lash extensions and lash lifts
- lash + brow tinting
- massage therapy
We will not offer:
- facials or facial treatments
- any waxing services that would require the client to remove their mask (such as lip, chin, cheeks, and jaw waxing)
In keeping with our high safety standards and to enable proper social distancing, we’re starting out with a reduced spa and medspa schedule.
All of our service providers are excited to get back to helping their clients look and feel amazing. We’ll keep you up to date as more service providers return.
Phone Booking Only
To ensure that each service provider has adequate time for sanitation and disinfection between clients, our Service Concierge team will be manually booking appointments by phone only. We will gradually enable more services to be booked online by clients.
