Spring Makeup Trends

INTERLOCKS Makeup Artist Christine shows us spring makeup trends on her lovely model, Front Desk Coordinator Erin.

We know spring hasn’t exactly sprung yet, but we’re already changing up our wardrobes, our hair, and our beauty routines. Gone are the severe contours and matte lips of winter. We’re loving all the spring makeup trends that INTERLOCKS Makeup Artist Christine S. shared with us: fresh glowing skin, high-shine highlight, and pops of color.

Learn more about each trend and get the look with our featured makeup products, and check out the timelapse below of all these trends in action. THEN join us at our Spring Makeup Event to learn how to execute these trends and save 20% on ALL cosmetics to get the look!*

Fresh glowing skin

Healthy skin is the foundation on which to build every makeup look. Besides taking good care of your face (anyone else need a facial after this LONG winter??) using high-quality products will help you get that super-fresh, glowy look. Christine used NARS Brightening Concentrate to prep Erin’s skin and add luminosity, then applied Rouge Bunny Rouge with a beauty sponge for radiant, dewy coverage.

High-shine highlight

Highlighting is another way to get that fresh, glowy look and enhance your facial features. Christine swept BECCA Shimming Skin Perfector in the ever-popular Champagne Pop color over Erin’s cheekbones, under the eyebrows, lightly across the nose and Cupid’s bow. The award-winning gold highlighter suits every skintone with its rose gold undertones and high-impact glow.

Pops of color

Who doesn’t love a pop of color? Christine added NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow in Arcturus (a dreamy, midnight blue shade) to Erin’s lower lash line to bring attention to her eyes with a trendy reverse eyeliner look. She then used the Rouge Bunny Rouge cheek wand for a dewy, fresh finish for a natural-looking flush, and a pop of bright lipstick to pull the whole look together.
