Read on to learn about both Holly and Meg’s experiences at Wella Triple Craft, and check out some of their photos below!
What was Wella Triple Craft all about?
Holly: Wella’s Triple Craft Event was a 3 day course led by world-renowned stylist Stephen Moody. I was one of eight stylists who worked hands on with Stephen. Over the 3 day course I completed a head-to-toe makeover on my beautiful model, Meg. This included a professional makeup artist, wardrobe styling, and professional photoshoot. Needless to say, I loved every second of every day!
What did you learn?
Holly: Not only did I learn Meg happens to have an incredible natural curl (that was a surprise to her as well!) but I also learned color and cutting techniques I am excited to bring into the salon!
What was your style plan for Meg?
Holly: The style inspiration I had for Meg was good girl gone rocker chick! Think big, sexy, textured hair with lots of dimension and tons of movement.
What was your favorite part?
Holly: I loved having the freedom to really think outside the box for my client, taking her and myself out of our “comfort zones.” It was such a pleasure working with Stephen and his team. Definitely an experience I will not forget!
How was your experience at Wella Triple Craft?
Meg: It was such an amazing experience being able to be a model of the TripleCraft class! It was fascinating to see the technical end of what goes in to every new style created. I learned so much about how to work with my new hair instead of fighting it!
What was your favorite part?
Meg: My favorite part was the photoshoot itself. While being in front of the camera is out of my comfort zone, watching the behind the scenes of the all the stylists, Stephen Moody, and the photographer working together to get the best shot was so inspiring.
How do you like your new look?
Meg: I LOVE my new look! It is so much easier for me to manage. It’s a fun new style for me, and Holly did an amazing job!
