What is PRF?

Platelet-rich fibrin is packed with long-lasting growth factors, and obtained from your own blood sample. PRF improves tissue regeneration and can be topically applied or used as an injectable filler to reduce wrinkles and improve facial appearance. It is especially effective for the under-eye area, areas around the mouth, and for acne scars.

How?

By isolating your own regenerative cells using a slow and short centrifugation process. These cells will then be used for skin improvement purposes.

Why is it better than traditional PRP?

What’s the procedure like?

Easy as 1, 2, 3:

1. Blood draw: a traditional collection of your blood; typically 2 tubes.

2. Centrifugation: the tubes are spun in a specialized centrifuge to separate your red blood cells from your blood fibrin.

3. Collecting the Platelets: Once the centrifugation is complete, the top layer of the tubes’ contents is collected, composed of your very own platelets!

Why use your own blood?
